AdGenie turns a product photo into a finished advert. You describe what you want, attach a photo of your product, and the app writes the brief, chooses a layout, and renders the advert. Every word on the result stays editable afterwards, and the editor's picture tools — crop, adjust, filter, effects, masking, stickers — are free to use on any image, including your own.
No. Credits are only taken once an advert has actually been made and saved to your projects — never when you start one. If a generation fails, times out, or is refused, your balance is untouched. If you make several at once and only some come out, you are charged for the ones that did.
The assistant turns what you say into a brief and picks a layout, then the image model interprets that brief. Two runs of the same brief will not be identical — that is how these models work. The fastest fixes, in order: be specific about the one thing that matters most, say what you do not want, and remember you can retype any text on a finished advert in the editor without paying for another generation.
A clean, well-lit shot where the product fills most of the frame and is in sharp focus. A plain wall, a table, or daylight near a window all work. What causes trouble: very small or distant products, heavy shadows across the item, and busy backgrounds with other objects in them.
Usually a content rule, and usually one of two: a recognisable real person, or another brand's logo or trademark in the photo. The image models refuse both, and we avoid putting a competitor's branding into an advert even when asked. Crop the logo out or use your own product and it will go through.
A single advert is usually between half a minute and a few minutes — the brief is written, a layout chosen, the image rendered at full size, then stored. When a provider is busy we start a second one alongside it and keep whichever arrives first. You can leave the app while it works; turn on notifications and we will tell you when it lands.
Adverts you generate are saved to your account, so they are there when you sign in on another device. You can save any of them to your camera roll or share them straight out of the app. Photos you bring in yourself to edit for free are kept on this device only and are never uploaded — which keeps them private, but means they do not travel with your account.
Yes. Anything you generate on a paid plan is yours to use commercially. One thing worth knowing, true of every AI image tool: images generated by a model may not be copyrightable the way a photograph you took would be. You can use them freely; you may not be able to stop someone else using something similar. For a logo or anything you need to own outright, use a designer.
Generating an advert costs credits; editing does not. Plans are auto-renewing subscriptions bought through the App Store, and your credits are topped up each time the subscription renews.
To cancel, use iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the App Store app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep your plan until the period you have paid for ends. We cannot cancel an App Store subscription on your behalf — Apple does not permit it.
Restoring a purchase on a new device: sign in with the same account and use Restore Purchases on the plans screen.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile inside the app. Deleting removes your account, your adverts, your saved products and every stored photo — immediately, and it cannot be undone. What we collect and who else sees it is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
